This isnt quite on the abortion topic, but i would like to say this.
To all who knew, argued, agreed, or spoke with Sailor Moon, this is a small rememberance of her.
I often argued with her here in the abortion forum numerous times before she was banned for reasons that i do not know. Although i did not always agree with her, she made very wll thought out and detailed points. I personaly think she made this forum worth comming to.
If there are any stories andyone would like to share about her, please due |

| While Sailor Moon was on the other end of the spectrum than I was (which brings the opportunity to debate), I am glad she is gone. Sure, she may have made some good points, but she definetly doesn't deserve any sort of tribute. She insulted and flamed other users just because they disagreed with her. I prefer people who argue like adults like Grandmaster, Protostar or alclarkey. Childish insults are not a way to debate. |

| I do miss Sailor Moon, but I agree that she did not always resort to logical ways of proving her point. Anyway, I've never seen anyone match the logic in my posts in this forum. Even GM won't examine my arguments head on; he always throws out 'such and such has already been refuted' without ever providing proof that it has been. |

| It's kind of strange she was on my side, but I still noticed how inflammatory she was to other people. I she was inflammatory, because I was also on the receiving end of it, when she wasn't on my side. |

She was certainly my main opponent on the forums. It does seem there is a lot less tension here in the abortion forums without her however. She really wouldn’t have been so bad, except she truly was pretty abusive is many of her posts, and it was frustrating. The place is less frustrating here now I believe.

Prole, BattleAx, Gilbert, and I surely come pretty close though wouldn't you say?

I wasn’t aware that I did this. I will make a serious effort to make sure I never do this again. |

| i think her inflaming people was her way of showing how strongly she believed in what she thought, which is a good characteristic, until it imposes on other people to the extent that it becomes a burden. but i do agree that it is a lot quiter without her |

Indeed, and as I have noticed, a great deal more civil as well. She could be a nice girl at times, but those times were rare. |

She definatly had a firm grasp of what she thought was right.
It is a lot mroe civil, but i think it takes away from the abortion debate, since it is an emotional subject, much lik religion, poeple try to use logic to debate with emotion, which is very difficult and usually ineffective and often brings about harsh emotions that become uncivil.
*sigh* hopefuly someone like her will come along again so i can enjoy a good on-the-brink debate on this forum. |

Difficult however, to advance any kind of a dialogue when the majority of the effort on either side is being used to hurl insults back and forth. Though it is an emotional subject, reason is the best way to solve a debate, something not in abundance when you are constantly defending against ceaseless insulting. |

This is incorrect. Steen on many occasions has given links to many differing sources. And yes, Sailor several times gave one word or one sentence responses, of which most contained only enough content to insult whoever disagreed with her or throw some kind of fit in lack of anything else she could do. |

i got the impression she threatened someone.
heres a good way to tell:
do a search for all her posts.
the ones towards their end should hint at what the mods thought and why she may have been axed. |

| Why was she banned? There are definitly more obnoxious/disagreeable/annoying people on the forum than Sailor Moon. Not that I agreed with all her viewpoints, but personally, I never saw a single post that warrented bannishment. |

No there aren't. You haven't been in here enough apparently.

Griffy, the woman was insufferable. I swear to god she must have insulted people on this forum more than 1000 times. Seriously with enough time, I can prove it. Toward the end, I think something was wrong with her. Her posts become literally erratic and indecipherable. The place was in a state of literally turmoil thanks to her. Now it is calm. |
