Reagan spent some of the money on goverment programs to help those in need but in the end it just the goverment in more debt which is probably were the Liberatarians get those public spending numbers, although Bush and his wars have cost us a lot of money to.

to help those in need? you mean by giving tax cuts to corporations and businesses, supply side economics, cutting welfare, trickle down theory, Reagan was not a man of the people, he was in it for himself and his corporate sponsors

He wrote a $400 personal check to a woman on welfare. Is that more or less caring about the people?

That show pissed me off. Don't get me wrong Reagan was good president, but greatest?? Please.

There are many presidents way ahead of him and the only way he won that poll was because his death stirred up emotions.

No need to take the poll results to seriously:

1 Ronald Reagan
2 Abraham Lincoln
3 Martin Luther King
4 George Washington
5 Benjamin Franklin
6 George W Bush
7 Bill Clinton
8 Elvis Presley
9 Oprah Winfrey
10 Franklin D Roosevelt

I am beginning to subscribe to the Hamiltonian belief that the American public is an ignorant beast. I hope one day they can persuade me otherwise. :(

They're only ignorant if they don't vote the same way you vote
