You know actually men do get erections for reasons other than arousal sometimes. I know it might sound silly but its true! They can come out of nowhere sometimes, especially in younger men.
Talk about bad timing! :!oops: |

Out of nowhere is true...let's just say that I learned not to wear boxers and dress pants at the same time. |

 its true! and that tight wrestling spandex looks like it could be pretty distracting (and especially revealing) at times too if you know what i mean... of course thankfully i've never worn it.
but that said, gays shouldn't be discriminated against in sports unless they are actually doing something wrong (i.e. sexually harrassing the other men). |

if you want to hear unpleasant, when you are uncircumcised, as you shrink back from a previous chubby, your hair wraps in the skinfold and the next time you chub-up, it pulls your hair.

 While I've never word a wrestling singlet, I have worn tight football pants. ;-)
But, you are correct in your assessment of discrimination and (to carry it further) harassment by teammates and coaches. |

| I don't allow gay guys on my team, or girls for that matter. They have cheerleading. Wrestling is not for them |

Well, there is a stereotype if I ever heard one.
Every single male cheerleader I know is straight. And, I know a lot of gay athletes in many sports....wrestling, basketball, football, baseball, gymnastics (and before you make some gay joke out of gymnasts, take a look at the athletic ability and strength it takes to be a gymnast) |

I hear that. Sometimes I'll be sitting in class and get one for no reason. Not even thinking about sex. So annoying as you have to reposition yourself so it won't show. |

While we are getting seriously off topic....I am sure every male on this board could relate to that. |

[sarcasm]
Similarly I think all straight people should be barred from performing arts.
[/sarcasm]
What if, by far, the best wrestler on your team was gay and he kept his sexuality to himself? What if you only discovered he was gay after he won your team the championship or whatever? |

Who are you to say what wrestling is not for? Do you work for a public school? If so, you could be setting yourself up for a discrmination lawsuit. |

Yea and forget any sympathy if you get caught!
"I swear I wasn't thinking about sex! It just happens! I don't know why!"
MMMHMM... riiiight
Sometimes its just the worst thing you can imagine happening at the worst time possible. Oh god, I'm having flashbacks of jumping jacks in 7th grade P.E. class!
:wtf:

when a guy can't try out for volleyball (at least in my area as there are no boys volleyball teams), then Article 9 cuts both ways. Besides a girl can't compete with a guy because they typically 5-10 lbs heavier due to milkmakers.
Gays shouldn't be on there because I dont' want a gay guy getting a good mental memory of me for masturbation later on. (and don't say it doesn't happen, a good dry hump served me very well a many of times during my teenage years) |

So by this rationale, you wouldn't object to a teacher throwing your "straight" son out of her class just as a precaution. |

btw, you're talking about two different things. gender and sexual orientation are separate issues. gay men are still men. |

GOOD POINT! I definately knew some guys who lusted over some teachers I had back in middle and high school |
