1) Getting married
2) Getting a divorce
3) Gay people (both being gay & the act of)
4) Sex before marriage
5) Women's role in the church
6) Condeming people of different faith &/or beliefs
7) Loving everyone

I want to know what (if anything) Jesus (not Paul, not John, not George or whoever) said (not paraphrasing, but actual quotes) about the above.
Then I want to know how you personally understood what he said.

I am curious to see what, if any differences there are in what was spoken & what was understood by people on this forum.

Oh God. You could have broken this down into smaller threads, as I see this getting disorganised. There have been entire threads dedicated to each of these topics, I doubt that one can hold them all.

This one covers them all I should think.

4:9 - Then he added, "Every man who has ears should use them!"

4:10-12 - Then when they were by themselves, his close followers and the twelve asked him about the parables, and he told them. "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those who do not know the secret, everything remains in parables, so that, 'seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them'".

4:13-20 - Then he continued, "Do you really not understand this parable? Then how are you going to understand all the other parables? The man who sows, sows the message. As for those who are by the roadside where the message is sown, as soon as they hear it Satan comes at once and takes away what has been sown in their minds. Similarly, the seed sown among the rocks represents those who hear the message without hesitation and accept it joyfully. But they have no real roots and do not last - when trouble or persecution arises because of the message, they give up their faith at once. Then there are the seeds which were sown among thorn-bushes. These are the people who hear the message, but the worries of this world and the false glamour of riches and all sorts of other ambitions creep in and choke the life out of what they have heard, and it produces no crop in their lives. As for the seed sown on good soil, this means the men who hear the message and accept it and do produce a crop - thirty, sixty, even a hundred times as much as they received."

No offense, but I see TONS of replies to questions/issues/ideas/thougts (etc) that are biblical quotes. Quotes/parables/stories (etc) can be understood differently by different people. So a simple quote isn't sufficient to answer a question WITHOUT an explaination along with it. If someone wants to quote something, that's great, but how about an explaination from the person(s) supplying the quote as to what the quotes means to them &/or why they supplied the quote &/or why they think the quote means anything.

Your request was for somthing Jesus said on the subjects you listed. I thought that you were not seeking additional input since you excluded Paul, John or anyone else, I assumed I was included.

Don't chide me for responding as requested.

Near as I can tell after a key-word search for "Marriage" Jesus didn't really have much to say on the subject except in passing.
Quote: 3) Gay people (both being gay & the act of)
Jesus never said anything at all about homosexuality
Quote: 4) Sex before marriage
I don't think Jesus addressed this in the context I think you mean (like an umarried couple), but he does acknowledge that prostitution is a sin.
Quote: 5) Women's role in the church
He never addressed this directly, I don't believe, but it has been theorized (and not just by the author of the DaVinci Code) that Mary Magdeline may have had a very active role in the early church.
Quote: 6) Condeming people of different faith &/or beliefs
7) Loving everyone

Jesus addressed these two related topics quite often.

"27 ¶ But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." Luke 6:27-31

"7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
-John 8:7

And the Parable of the Good Samaritan is a classic example of Jesus making a postitive reference to a heathen, as it was the Samaritan who stopped to help the beaten man, when many Hebrews (including a pharisee) had ignored him.

And my personal favorite:

"God is Love" John 4:8

If I was going to 'chide' you I could find other reasons...
My point with the reply wasn' to chide you. I guess I should have made it more clear than I did: a ;ot of time I see quotes to answers to question asked w/o any explaination as to why the quotes were given. Personally, I would like the person to add their comentary as well.
