Pictures proove nothing indeed. Too many seals some need to die we have regulations those who don't follow them should be punished.

however seal hunting is not evil for some it is food on the table not the seal meat necisarily but it pays the bills and puts food on the table.

what about other countries and up north in our own, it is impossible to live without a fur coat, i have been to russia and had girls ask me honestly if people throw paint on coats in america, they need theirs to keep warm, synthetics just dont work as well

There are materials to keep warm without killing your fellow creatures. What if you were a being with fur? Ever think about that? What about compassion?
Your solution for comfort is to kill another being? Is that not evil?

Age old argument of over-population. Gee, it seems to me the seals have got along just fine all these thousands of years, but now all the sudden they need humans to slaughter them off because there's "too many of them", when in fact it's been shown they are rather endangered actually. Nice way to spin it though.

Seal hunting is not done to put food on anyone's table. It is done for the FUR. And as far as "paying the bills" is concerned, maybe those morons who depend on that industry for a livelihood ought to start thinking about getting another job? You know, something that does'nt involve the brutal bludgeoning to death of defenseless innocent beings. Would that be not as fun or convenient to join the 20th century? (nevermind the 21st for now)

One thing I have always considered myself to be liberal on is that of animal rights and things of that sort. The whole seal hunting industry sickens me, and I really don't care if those workers lose their jobs.
