How do I change my STMP settings, and what does this mean.
I have a yahoo email account, and is there any way for me to look it up? |

It's probably smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Quote: Q: How can I read my Hotmail or Yahoo email using Thunderbird?
A: If you pay for one of Yahoo's or Hotmail's premium email services, you can access your email in Thunderbird by setting up a new POP3 account. If you do not want to sign up for Yahoo's premium email services, you can access your email in Thunderbird by installing a proxy program that sits between Thunderbird and Yahoo, and which relays messages from Yahoo to your Thunderbird inbox. The following shareware and freeware webmail proxy programs are available:
* [Yahoopops, free/open source, works with Yahoo] - http://www.ypopsemail.com/
You need to set up a POP3 system to use yahoo with tbird, I believe the above shows you how. :) |
