I think a lot of us have done it before, but it kind of wastes space. On other forums, there is a feature in which if a member double posts, it automatically combines it with the previous post. I don't know how hard the code would be to write for that, but it was just a thought.

It's not easy to write anything for this forum...this would be moderately difficult. If you double post, you can always delete it (until somebody else posts in that thread after you). If that happens, you can always report it or PM a staff member and we'll get rid of it.

If I see a double post, I always delete it.

Then it's not a double post......


If there's some minor differences, I'll usually delete the first post and let the second one stay, as it's usually a revision of the first post. I use careful discretion when messing with people's posts...sometimes I edit one to include stuff from the other and just delete the other one. It all depends...
