I know that i have to get a URL...whatever that is. I'm sorry i'm just not very technologically oriented. Can anyone help me?
What is a URL? how do i get it? |

Well URL stands for "Uniform Resource Locator," though that probably doesn't tell you much :-P. A URL is that thing you see at the top that looks like "http://www.blabla.com." In order to get an avatar, you must supply the URL to the image you want to use...for example, to use the image on Google's home page, you would use:
Code: http://www.google.com/intl/en/images/logo.gif
To get the URL of an image you see on a website, right click on the image and click "Properties" and the URL will be in there--copy and paste it in the box that says "Link to off-site Avatar" in your profile page. Make sure the image is no larger than this:
If the image you want to use is on your computer, I recommend using a free image hosting service like Photobucket on which to store the image.
