Why not have mod threads as stickys on top of forums so that posters could report threads that have become flame wars? Lots of other forums have them.

Can't you just use the "report this post" button?

Next to each post is the "Report Post" button that is a little exclamation point. Use that.

Thanks :).

Yes, but what is someone doesn't want to report a specific post as flaming but rather sees that a flame war has erupted in a particular thread and thinks the entire thread should be deleted or locked? PMing individiual mods on such occasions gets tedious with so many such threads (and let us admit it many do exist).

Y2A, I wouldn't put it beyond the mods to actually check the context of the post that was reported.

Wouldn't it be possible to send an electrical shock to the keyboards of those we don't agree with?Or how about we send a really big bad guy to their house and take a finger or break a bone?

You guys(complaining whiners) have effectively neutered this board into cream of wheat.

Many posters with screws loose or volatile personalities have been shown the door making what was interesting chili more like a light 'chicken' broth.

Sure,we can and do disseminate personal opinion as long as it is sanitized, homogenized, and scrutinized into an opinion that is OKed by others...  :-| /rant

Just use the report post feature to report the opening post and we will investigate.

As for "mod threads" they can become flame threads in and of themselves and we have had high sucess with the report post feature. Use it to report threads that are flame wars.

This is locked.
