Ah but no, since beer will likely be served in 500ml glasses instead of pint glasses - and 500ml is actually slightly smaller than a pint. So we'll be drinking from smaller glasses. Horrific.
Not necessarily, besides as a spirits drinker i personally could care less about pints. Vodka already comes in litre bottles. :wink:

LOL it depends for example in Italy most of the pubs serve beer in British pints (0.54 l)

When I think of a pint, I have an unpleasant image of a drunk yob in my head... Personally, I prefer the small beers on the continent.

I agree with Saracen, as a mathematician the metric system is far more logical. The French go one step further and have replaced degrees with gradiens.
