I know all about the Gnostic Gospels. But, to the point, I have read the bible. And, while I am not trying to impune Sailor's character, remember that even Christians can't always agree on what makes a good Christian.

Funny thing about God's word: It's very subjective. "God's" view of things has changed so many times in the past. The Holocaust, The shape of the earth, the revolution of the planet's around the sun. God is getting to seem kinda shifty, wanting exactly what the public wants . . . no matter what he said before . . .

Matthew 6:5-6: "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men....when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret...."

You are encouraged to show your faith through action, by living a righteous life. Babbling endlessly about being a good Christian is exactly what you aren't supposed to do - at least that's the way I see it. Please note I'm not accusing you of this. I just think too many these days use Christs name to lend their opinion validity instead of proving God's greatness through action and humility.

Totalirinsm is the only option. You may not like it, but it works. You've just been brainwashed into beliving freedom is worth the effort, freedom is the reason your life s*cks and little puppies die or whatever..

My life is fine thanks and how do we know you are not the delusional one who believes things in opposition to all physical and intellectual and historical evidence? ie Totalitarianism works.

Works how? Where? When?

Point a totalitarian country where puppies don't die and people are better off than say Canada?

Also, God created us to have free will, but he created free will in an effort to give us means of dealing with problems and troubles we encounter in life.

Sadness, hopelessness, and all those negative thoughts and feelings of being alone- are all brought on by man, not God.. Satan developed sadness and pain, really.. but man feeds off of it, without thriving. Satan works to destroy Gods PERFECT creation all the time! Use your times of loneliness to talk to God. Realise that when you think that all is lost, and you have nothing or nobody- you have everything when you just give yourself over to God.

Theres this story of a starving family who ate very little food, and did away with so many "niceties" in life, to Glorify God.. They ended up just feeling hopeless, feeling like they had nothing. They went to church (they usually went to church) and literally GAVE IT ALL UP, and you wouldnt believe it- but they ended up being given so much food, and clothes, etc.. steaks- so much they could never eat all of it..And the man started making alot more money, too, to support his family. They tried for so long to "give up their niceties" to God, but it wasnt until they went back to Church and GAVE THEIR LIVES to Him, did they finally get their super awesome reward!

That was GODS WORK! God has his ways of thanking people for working so hard at loving him. In the end, we realise its not hard to do at all, we end up with more comfort than we could ever imagine, by doing the simplest thing in the world when we are at the end of our ropes, hopeless and in despair- just doing what you know you need to, and saying "I am yours God, and if I havent done enough yet, and I dont know what else to do, I am turning to you to lead me. I am yours. Take me, PLEASE! "

I know this isnt the forum for this, but I wont apologise, either. Sometimes, people really reach out in desperation, to hear about God's good works, and I felt that this was one of those times.

Bless you all!

Praying in public is different than Glorifying God and introducing his good works to people. Jesus highly encouraged us to spread the good word. I never pray in public, not even in Church, when I go. It feels more special if I am alone with God.

...And I am not proclaiming myself to be a better Christian than anyone. I committed murder, too, when I had my own abortion. I was pro choice, publicly, for 10 years, and now I have 10 years of penance to pay for that, at the very least.

A simple IP scan can answer that question..

Everything went fine untill rebels came about. IE: More people under the hallucination of democracy and freedom..

And Sailor Moon, don't be so hard on yourself, ok, so you've made some mistakes, but you are a changed woman, and a wonderful person now who only subhumans would not embrace. ^__^

I don't know what you are used to in other sites but here I find people prefer it when you make some effort to make sense. But that is your prerogative.

I apologize if you or he thinks that is a personal attack.

I also challenge you or anyone else to make sense out anything he has written in response to my questions.

People can answer any way they like and if my factual observation qualifies as personal then I retract it.
