You're going to have to be a bit more specific, there, Hemingway.

Apparently, some type of glitch is allowing members to vote multiple times, or at least it appears that way.

Oh, yeah. This has always been the case, but now you can see it. You see, when someone gets impatient (such as oneofthem) with their internet connection, they just start refreshing the page. Unfortunately, that keeps sending the query over and over and over again. I'll put in a buffer for people who are impatient in a little while...unfortunately, at the moment, my nonvirtual life has quite a few pressing concerns.

But, it's PEBKAC, not a bug

I didn't refresh the page, i purposefully exploited the bug, or error, or deviation from the working optimum, or whatever.

You are one hell of a 1337 |-|4><0/2. You wouldn't be able to do it rapidly enough to cause any overflow. You did refresh the page, whether it was on purpose or not

More to the point, nobody got my Hemingway joke, and for that, I'm banning all of you.

zomg but then you'll be lonely and you don't want that!

The way i voted multiple times was to click stop when the thing starts to load, and vote again.

You could've just pressed stop, reload, stop, reload, etc. etc. etc.

It's the way that any server side language interprets. Server first, you last. But the server takes from what you input, so you just kept doing it over and over again. It doesn't provide a security risk, as you can't DDoS something that way (because you just can't send enough packets to do it), so it's more of an annoyance from people who like to be annoying.

"Your vote was logged. But only once. Seriously, have some patience."

Eh, you should change this to something more professional looking.

Such as what, for instance?

"Meh. n00b."?

That's even worse.

I think "the strippers just got here, don't expect the system fixed too soon" sounds best. Leaves some wiggle room.
