Has anyone here had any luck with scrying, either crystal or water? I am almost ready to start trying the water method, but I was curious if anyone had any pointers.
Also, if you know a method other than crystal or water could you please describe it? |

I've had moderate success with scrying using TV snow. |

Nothing more than the normal preparation for magick or scrying. Get in a light trance, plop yourself down in front of the screen, and let your subconscious do the rest.
In general I feel that if you star at anything long enough, you will find an image or pattern that inspires your current situation. |

| A friend of mine has had success with scrying using a black mirror. I don't know where he got it, but I would love to get one as well and see if it works for me. |

| I prefer just closing my eyes and scrying on the back of my eyelids. |

Quote: I prefer just closing my eyes and scrying on the back of my eyelids. Have you had much success? I am interested in future events and not answers to questions. If you have had success, I have to say that you have one of the most interesting and practical methods I've heard. With the other methods I could see having mild hallucinations based on the optical illusions of candle light dancing on dark waters, but your method uses no contrasts...basically you would have "figured out" how to be psychic to a lesser degree.

There are places online where you can order a black mirror. These are a few I rather liked.

I like the third one. The round solid black. I'll let you know if I have success with the water and if so I will order one. I was told that the chalice for the water scrying has to be silver, can anyone confirm that? |

I haven't heard that, but I would say either silver or black....as with mirrors. |

There are contrasts, when I close my eyes blotches of colour move around like liquid, pulsating and growing and shrinking and being replaced by other blotches, it is very easy for images to jump out at you that way I think. I believe this is normal, the blotchiness. |
