Funny how the works of human hands always go wrong, especially when misguided religious people take the approach that the "Lord helps those who help themselves". The medieval Church thought the works of their hands would save humanity, look at how that turned out, for an example.

The key to balance, in my humble opinion, is to trust the works of the Lord's hands and not our own works.

Well I think we're all well aware of your religious zeal Cap'n. It is my humble opinion that the world has become a much better place now that we've thrown away the cloak of superstition and replaced it with reason and compassion. Science, the arts and philosophy have done far more to improve society than any amount of belief in god/s or magic.

Very true, actually. Religion hasn't benefited all of humanity, but only the sections of it that follow that certain belief.

Quote: Negative. Kabbala is "uncovering the nakedness of your Father", if you understand what that means.

That is not the Light. Are you referring to the line of Ham?

What about alchemy? The philosophers stone was supposed to be a fountain of youth, among other things. Genetics is much like alchemy; it is misunderstood and feared now, but once it transforms in to true (acceptable) "science" (via alchemy=chemistry) it will no longer be taboo. Basically it seems like the social value of taboo, determines science from "tampering with nature" or other such lines of logic.

Also, anyone that doesn't believe in magic, just hasn't studied quantum physics enough

I don't see that it's any better. Just because you live in a nice place doesn't mean the rest of humanity does. The majority of humanity lives in misery.

Maybe life is better for you. That doesn't mean much, because what makes your life good is taken from others.
