Don't take a quote out of context - it makes you look stupid.

AKAMad,

You wrote:   Gee, maybe it's because your every post oozes bile and hatred, as I would put in my bastard language.

I have read this entire thread and have not seen bile and hatred pouring from De Bhaldraithe posts, I think maybe it is a perception fabricated in your own mind. You and red dragon have spent the entire time hurling insults instead of using your minds to actively debate him. I score him far above the two of you in the skill of debating.

Your entitled to your opinion, but please show where i have thrown insults, where have I said he is an A$$****, where have I called him a P$$$$, these are some of the words that have been used by them to insult me. So get your facts right. Just because you come on here and stage yourself as the devils advocate doesn't mean anyone's going to take you seriously. Equally it doen't mean anyone has to take me seriously, stop being so vain. It's only a message board.

OK, it seems that you are trying to play victim here now that you realise you were trounced in the debate. You are not a victim here. Below is a list of some of the insults hurled at myself and other members of the forum from your good self in this thread and in other threads. I haven't went through the bother of collecting all of the insults, though there are still quite a few.

red dragon wrote: you numpty.

red dragon wrote: that makes you a liar and a hypocrite

red dragon wrote: OOOhhh get her with her inflated ego, what like your going to make a difference in both of your bigoted opinions

Now I have a feeling that you will do the same with the insults I have made at you so doing that will be no surprise to me. Before you do however, if you plan on going ahead with that, accept the fact that you started the insults and childish name calling. Also like I said, I have left quite a few of yours out, simply due to the sheer amount of insults you have made at me.

Funny, I thought Ireland was colonised by the Scots.

Is this what you tell you little Clockwork Oranges ?

I would rather appear stupid, than a baby-murderer.

Of course, baby-murder starts with a pound on a plate. Or is it a dollar ?

Funny I thought Britain didn't exist till 1707.
I bet you don't tell your 'minions' that either.

Please forgive my gross exaggeration

Or course technically, its conspiracy to baby-murder that starts with a $ on a plate.

Not very funny at all. I wonder how many babies have been killed by Brits in Iraq or Afghanistan. I can tell you that they have (officially - which means what they have owned up to) killed nine children in the six counties since 69.

Lovely. Your exaggeration has not been forgiven.

I don't remember us giving these men medals. I don't remember us pretending these men were heroes. I certainly don't remember us ordering them to kill children.

Well according to Iraq Body Count the 'coalition forces' have killed about 1850 children in 3 years. About 25 children per million population per year.
Don't pretend that you can pin Iraq on the Brits. If you want to find out what it like to be occupied by a real bunch of animals, get on a plane to Baghdad.

Forgiveness was something I was not expecting from someone holding a 800 year old grudge on a lie. But if the semantic nuances in the word 'conspiracy' are what enables you to sleep at night, then you can have my pity.

Who can you pin it on then?

Who is holding a grudge? I have repeatedly said that we must move forward and have commended efforts on all sides to move forward so what are you talking about?

Well the British Army in NI killed about 0.2 children per million population per year. Of course this is based on 'official' figures. You can make up your own.

So, it would seem that the US Army kills 125 times more children than the British. This explains why the English make jokes about letting NI be the 51st state. It also explains why the Americans are losing in Iraq. The British Army succeeded in NI because we killed so few children.

Now, who do you think invaded Russia in 1941 ?
The Germans or the Poles ?
You would have to be pretty sick to claim it was the poles. The invasion might have been launched from Poland and there were plenty of polish slave labourers in the German Army, but to blame the poles would be pretty disgusting.
You could try blaming it on the European Federation, a country that won't exist until 2543 AD, but then people will just laugh at you.

Now, who do you think invaded Ireland in 1169 ?
The French or the English ?

OOh! Ooh! I know! It was the descendents of those Norman bastards who invaded and subjugated England 100 years before, and who still regarded the Anglo-Saxons with gallic contempt.........

It seems you say that with a hint of pride, or even dignity. Very good, very good.

Oh your soldiers must be commended. They killed so few children. Very decent of them altogether. Tell it to Julie Livingstones mother.

Tell it to the parents of the two children killed by an IRA bomb in 1974 on the M62. Tell it to the parents of Jonathan Ball and Tim Parry in Manchester.

Or how about the family of 14-year-old Kathleen Feeney, killed by the IRA in Derry 1973, and the family of the soldier subsequently killed in "retaliation" for a death they themselves were responsible for a few days later?

Tell it to the parents of Jack Duddy.

I wonder how long we could go on naming victims here. I also wonder how much good it would do. I wonder who would run out of victims' names first.

I have already pointed out your 'heroes' propensity to kill women and children. Let me add to it their propensity to hide behind them as well. This makes a level of what our Americans friends, but I do not, call 'collateral damage' inevitable.

You could always suggest to the IRA that they stand in a field and put on a uniform, then see how many children we kill.

Of course, if we really were the animals you like to portray us as, you would have found a lot more Irishmen willing to 'fight' and die like men. I know that because hundred of thousands of Irish men did, in defense of Western Civilisation. Unfortunately the memory of their sacrifice has been diminished, and at Inniskillen, spattered in blood.
The only Republicans the English really consider worthy of respect are Bobby Sands et AL. Not just from a moral point of view, it was the only time we were rattled. Non-violence scared us after Gandhi, but we always thought that the idea that you could bomb Blitz veterans into surrendering was sign of Irish stupidity or poor history teaching.

 See - it's all your fault.

As a Brummie, my list goes to 21 mothers, so let's just not go there.
Why don't you make a list of the Irish children we knee-capped in revenge. When there are 250,000 'legitimate targets' living among us, you would expect it to be a long one.
The funny thing is when I tell the Muslims that live round here that they are 'the New Irish', they seem to laugh and breath a sign of relief. :!?:
Not that they would ever consider going to NI, 'Are you mad ? I've seen how they treat white people'.

De Bhaldraithe wrote:

Oh no, you have caught me out in another gross exaggeration. :!oops:
The best estimate is that the Germans exterminated 20% of the Polish population. The best estimate for the Norman invasion of 1066 and after, is only 10% of the English.
Is there any chance of forgiveness for this one. :!?:
Do you really thing that the FRENCH invasion of England was any less brutal than the FRENCH invasion of Ireland or Wales or Scotland :!?:
There is a joke we tell about the half-truths and lies that pass Irish history.
When does an Irishman instantly become an Englishman ? A. When he buys a Black man.

You might find it easier to move into the future, if you were a bit more realistic about the past.
