|
|
Super Bowl XL won’t be the only attraction that people will be talking about in Detroit. On February 3-5, LLM's Truth Truck will be on the streets of Detroit to show the reveling masses the hard truth about abortion. For more than three decades, America has sacrificed its children to be killed on the altar of convenience. Each year comes and goes with its parties, celebrations, and games. Little thought is given to the fact that babies are daily being murdered as we live our lives to the fullest.
Will there be another 30+ years of blood to answer for in this Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? We can be sure of one thing. If we continue to oppose abortion with the fervor and commitment that has characterized our last 30 years, child sacrifice will be here for the duration.
Fancy PR letters don’t save babies. Proclaiming that we are pro-life doesn’t save babies. If we care to see the innocent protected we must do more than we are doing now.
Abortion is just an “issue” among other “issues” to most in the Body of Christ. It will be a fearful day of reckoning when we answer for our complacency as one baby out of every four has their limbs torn from their bodies. Are we too consumed with our lives to care? Really?
The Truth Truck won’t stop all of the killing, but it is just one powerful tool in the battle. When men and women are forced to see the sin that they tolerate, they are brought to a crossroads. Ignoring the “issue” of child sacrifice becomes a difficult thing. We need to see the truth to deal with the truth.
LLM’s Truth Truck will be leaving for Detroit on Thursday, Feb. 2 and will return to VA on Monday Feb. 6. Does LLM have an abundance on time free to do this? No. Does LLM have the finances stashed away to do this? No. We are trusting that you will get behind this endeavor with your prayers and support. I can guarantee that babies will be saved. When we show the truth of the plight of the murdered preborn, we often hear testimonies of mothers who were forever changed by the reality that they were forced to consider.

Ah, fetal porn. Well, why not show the deceptive misrepresentations to the masses, right? As if anybody really care anymore
Now, if they handed out free beer and hotdogs.... |

Deceptive? Photos don't lie. Are you saying that these things don't happen? What the hell do you think happens when you suck out a baby's brains and pull its limbs off? |

Deceptive? Photos don't lie. Trying to present miscarriages, plastic dolls and pictures of late-term abortions from china as the typical US 1st-trimester abortion is very deceptive.
Quote: Are you saying that these things don't happen? What the hell do you think happens when you suck out a baby's brains and pull its limbs off? No babies are involved in abortions, your deceptive, pro-life revisionist linguistic hyperbole none withstanding.
But I AM fascinated why pro-lifers are so enamored with fetal porn? |

I dismissed the thread and stopped taking the post seriously at this point. More talk of fairy tales and invisible men in the sky. Pointless. |

Are you trying to say that aborted fetuses do not have arms, legs, hands, feet, ribs, and faces?
:rotf:
Wrong again. |

WTF are you talking about?? You are Hilarious! I say one thing...and you...you respond as though it were to another thread or post from an entirely different forum! You claim to not be libertarian...yet Sailor..why do you advocate the smoking of excessive amouts of Pot...by doing so youself?
I refuted a ridiculous statement that said Photos do not lie. Photos lie all the time. They can be modifed with Photoshop with ease to be anything you want. Am I claiming this happens with the fetal porn? No, it may or may not. The only claim I make....is sometimes, photos lie like hell. |

Ok. You have to see it in person to really believe it? You have to see what an ABORTED fetus looks like, because it has parts that you believe are somehow varied from what actual aborted fetuses have?
Grow some balls and go volunteer at an abortion clinic and see for yourself.
As far as you backpedaling, and youre trying to claim that your assertion was meant to be OT, or what have you- I am not....
Stupid. This is all sooooo stupid. This thing that youre trying to pull here. Grow up.
Dont troll the thread with OT statements, (not that you were, even though you would prefer to say that you were) and dont try to backpedal on what you said either. You are posting in a thread that is discussing a truck with an aborted fetus's photo plastered to its side. And you are trying to say that photos can be edited. Its very clear what you meant by that. "four eyes and four arms"??? What do you think, that everyone on here is a moron except you? Quite the opposite!!!!!!!!!!
Stop this ridiculous bull crap, and dont try to make me out to be an idiot. Youre the one who posted it. Knock this off. I dont appreciate it. I am going to report you if you think trolling by setting someone up like this (backpedaling, in reality) is funny, when it is designed to make someone else look stupid, which it doesnt... except that you look pretty darn cowardly and stupid right now.
And if you dont think I can see what you have written about me in other threads, believe me, I am keeping track, and I will not accept this kind of adolescent crap from you.
STOP NOW.
Back on ignore, BTW. As usual, since you just cant be at all civil to ANYONE. BACK OFF. |

| Personally, I think it is in poor taste for the "Truth Truck" to go to the Superbowl. It is about time and place. The Superbowl is for the fans to go enjoy a football game, not a place to pull out a soapbox on a pet political issue. |

Politics and religion are never subjects of a polite nature.
They are subjects that need to be recognized by the mass public, though.
What better time and place for American politics to come into awareness besides the most watched American game of the year!?!
Having to stand a thousand feet away from the clinics is very ineffective and unfair to our cause. Thank goodness for red blooded american sporting events. |

While I do agree that politics is a subject which needs to be brought to the attention of the public, I have a feeling that the "Truth Truck" will not accomplish its goal.
It is a simple case of audience analysis. In order for a message to be properly received, and thus acted upon by a target public, the demographics of that audience need to be taken in to consideration. Now, lest there be any misunderstandings, demographics also include mindset and goals.
This public will be there to watch a football game. They are not there to here support, or see images, for a political issue. Therefore, given the nature of the truck, it seems highly likely that many, if not the vast majority, will shut down in relation to the message. If an audience shuts down and is hostile toward a speaker's message then the message will not be received properly. If anything this truck could cause a backlash. Those "on the fence" of the abortion issue may be inclined to decide for the pro-choice side beings that the images represented by the truck are of a rather graphic nature.
The thought of "at least the pro-choice side isn't showing me graphic pictures" may be just enough to swing an opinion against LLM's cause.
Those with firm opinions on either side will not be persuaded to change. |

| It doesnt matter what theyre there to do. Yes demographics play a big role. The fact that at least half of America will be watching, and people will take pictures, talk, etc, etc, is all the demographic you need. |

It is quite possible that LLM will accomplish their goal. However, I see it more likely that the neutral audience they are attempting to get there message to will shut down. |

I never said they were. There are three audience types; positive, hostile, and neutral. The positive audience already agrees and therefore doesn't need to see the message to form an opinion. The hostile audience already disagrees and no message is going to change that. The neutral audience hasn't made up their mind. THEY are the primary public that LLM is targeting. Now, what percentage of America's population is neutral, I do not know. |

Excuse me? Positive, hostile and neutral?
Hostile?
Oh you mean like, ME??? Yeah I am pretty pissed about the whole situation. After all, MY UNBORN KID WAS MURDERED!!!!!!!!!
If people see these pictures, maybe they will think "That could be my kid that I aborted! OMG!!!"... or "I dont want my kid to end up that way".
Hostile is right. We are talking about mass murder here. We are also talking about the freedom of speech and press. God Speed to them, and to all Americans to see it, I hope people will HAVE a heart rather than seeing one thats stopped and not care at all. |

Calm down Sailor. I was not making any judgements about the quality of anybody's stance or the appropriateness of their opinion.
Hostile, in this context, has nothing to do with emotion. It is a term used to describe predisposed attitudes of an audience toward a topic presented. Just because an audience is considered hostile does NOT mean they have violently emotional reactions. It simply means they already disagree with the topic presented. |

....And so they should. Disagree with abortion, that is.
And YES. That is an emotional reaction. From ether side.
Choice resents the truth
Life resents the act. |
