Didn't Muhamad give the option to captives to:
1) Die
2) Become slaves
3) Convert to Islam
And thus for centuries at least (historically and up into the Crusades) this quarter was given to all captives.
So is this option no longer available to captives in Iraq (the ones with the beheadings) or are the Americans and other foreigners being caught so stupid that they don't ask for the option of conversion for their life? Or are the captors that un-muslim? |

| Well if you are getting at what I think you are...the option of conversion sounds more politically powerful than beheadings...which just pisses us off and makes the US want to burn down all the mosques in the world... |

Well during the prophets day the captives could gain their freedom if they taught 10 muslims to read and write..
I am afraid that these hijackers like others arent basing their actions on Islam or else they would be hijacking innocant people right and left then killing them..BTW its not just non muslims being hijacked, alot of them are Muslims. |
