Why do you find it interesting and from where did you get your initial information about the Djinn?

I just joined the forum, because i find interesting and worthy, and i am willing to answer your questions about the djin. it is a very long issue, so it will be easier if you are more specific.


anyways, i am going to give you a very brief summary about the djin. We , muslims, believe that

there are two types, djin, who are the good guys, and saitins, who are the bad guys
they could see us but we can't
they are made of fire
each muslims has what we call "qareen", which means literaly best friend who nevers seperate, but in this case the is a saitin, "shaytan" in arabic, who never leaves you and always tells you to do bad things. there are some saying that help muslims to get rid of them for short periods.
the djin are muslims, because islam is for every living organism on earth, and saitins are non-muslims.
saitins have a master called "iblees", who caused adam and his wife "hawa" (sorry i can't remeber her name in english), and pledged allah that he will make most of the people on earth disobey allah except the ones who are in high standards in thier belief.


the most interesting part is that saitins and djins could live in human bodies for various reasons. for example some males and females from the djins and saitins fall in love with human males and females , so they decide to live in their bodies, it is similar to the exorcist but without the ugly face.
when yawning we should cover our hands with the back of the right hand in order to prevent the saitin from entering our bodies.
if you ever saw a group of muslims praying you might have noticed them standing next to each other very closely in lines, that is because gaps between people who are praying help the saitins to interrupt the concentration of the praying.

its not them who say they are good, there is a whole "sura" in the quran that speaks about djins who converted to islam when it was first known. we can't speak to them to know, but we believe that there are many of them that believe in islam and are muslims like me!

i am not being skeptical, and what i am saying is totally different than aliens.

first aliens are not made of fire and people on earth have some kind of an image for aliens, whereas for djins we only know that they are made of fire, we don't know how do they look like.

then aliens don't live on earth while djins do, and actually we believe that when allah first created the earth, there was a war between saitins and angels, they are different than the christain angels. it resulted in the execution of saitins from land to water.

The way these beings are described by today's people is a lot different than what they really are.

I think they are what is called a demon in the Bible. They can possess or deceive people.
