My question exactly. Who gives a crap. why are certain people so willing and ready to derail the progress of a minority. it's shameful. |

| Because people just hate Libertarian way of looking at, so they want to debate it, even though we win. |

That was more that five words.
If you're winning, then why do gays continue to move forward in both equality and acceptance to today's society? |

| Some people in this forum see the gay rights movement in this nation as one of the more important civil rights issues of our times. The fact that the homosexual community makes up a small percentage of the population is irrelevant. |

Exactly. Afterall, what was the percentage of African Americans in this country at the of Civil Rights?
What really is amazing is that these homophobic neocons somehow know how many people in this country are gay, when so much needs to be considered regarding latent homosexuality, gay Republicans, and myriad other factors. When you take those factors into account, it's logical to assume that there are many more Americans who are gay, and they come in many different shapes, colors, sizes, and ideologies. |

Those weren't the magic words.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but that is the Libertarian standing. Let them marry, it is neither force or fruad, and none of your business. |

I believe you're confusing the Libertarian stance on gay marriage with that of the Republicans stance. :? :!?: |

| Because some people want to use sexual orientation as an excuse for discrimination, prejudice and hate. |

Perhaps the more pertinent question in your fascination with the homosexual community is why you insist on talking about it? Is there an honest debate here, explanation as to your motives, etc., or are you just inviting some senseless flaming? |

I never believed that bulls**t. I don't care who came up with that number, all you have to do is step outside to prove it wrong.
As for your question, I personally believe the gay marriage issue is a great litmus test, a way to determine how people look at law and constitutional principle overall, since it's such a very simple concept. |
