| You do realise everyone will still make it and you will still import it we just cant use the name feta. Also it could lead to more expensive feta prices in the short term. Who'll feel those the worst well I think it'll be the largest consumers of it the Greeks. |

food is a product, just like any other
and has to abide by standards and regulations
if there was no standards and regs, then national countries could make up their on rules.
and that is how trade wars start
you want to play the game
then you have to obey rules
...
wait why am i bothering?
there no hope for someone that believes Frances socialist politics is a treat to world security |

"Edward McMillan-Scott, a Conservative MEP from North Yorkshire who has led a campaign against Greek efforts to claim exclusive rights over the feta name,"
It was not the EU which brought forward this idea it was the Greeks! The EU simply mediates under EU law. If you bothered to read the whole article or understand the role of the EU you might have picked up on this.... |

I am sure that BOC British Oxygen Company is abiding by strict EU rules and regs controlling the quality, and distribution of their air. |

| Right, so presumably, in future, all Cheddar Cheese must actually come from Cheddar, England, in order to comply with EU Rules? |

BOC is currently involved in Legal case against mother nature regarding this. Mother nature must cease immediately in the production of O2 or face fines regarding the import of CO2 as part of her 'carbon-cycle process'
