1.get rid of the useless senate and governor general who get paid excessive amounts and contribute minimally. if anything at all.
2. lose all those crappy ties to the english monarchy... i mean come on those bastards sold us out many times to the americans, yet the americans were the ones who revolted against them in the first place.
3. Tarrif/tax the vejesus on our energy and water that we send to the states... y? because america is treating canada like a biatch with their illegal tarrifs on our softwood lumber.
4. legalize pot and embrace our number 1 industry.. dont believe me... look it up.
5. get rid of our joke military and replace it with a competent national guard.
6. Fix up the cnn rail...
7. sue the s**t out of the tobacco companies for health care costs and
then make cigarettes illegal(this one here is just me being bitter)
8. Dont ask any questions, just deport illegal immigrants. goodbye fob
9. introduce the single transeferable vote system to all levels of government.
there are many more but i cant think of them now

Hare,
Your list is just damn good. Nice points.... Along with the Senate, the Coast Guard is a damn good idea. Why the hell are our troops being killed in Afghanistan? I say scrap the CF (army, air force, and navy). I'm not trying to follow the U.S. here... but a National Guard would do the trick. A combination of air, land and water support for the nation. I've read a recent report that the fisheries in Canada should run out by 2048. It is not the Canadians who are overfishing but the illegal European vessels. We caught one from Spain and they tried threating us with sanctions... lol... What A JOKE! The occupants of the vessel were eventually tried and found guilty. An enormous some was paid. We are also being accused of harbouring illegal terrorists. A statement that hasn't been proving to be true, however, we do get alot of illegal immigrants coming over on boats who seek refuge. Canada has one of the largest intakes as it is, but the refusal to wait in line is a problem. Most of these people have no background check. |

It's might be thrue that Canada neds some reforms, but
right now the lider is most onest man I ever seen as the head of State.
I love Stiven Harper and he did sow for whole the world in Vietnam that the principles of democracy still means something for Canada. |

Mr Harper is not Canada's head of state. The de jure head of state is Queen Elizabeth II, the de facto head of state is her governor general, Michaëlle Jean......... |
