Opposition/Support varies from place to place, but it's generally pretty lopsided on the specific question of 'marriage' - the majority being opposed. This site claims the numbers went from 55% all the way up to 68% opposed (comparing data from April 2005 with that of a year earlier):

For what it's worth, I am the only member of the Republican HQ who supports gay marriage.....
I don't know the exact number, but I would agree that the opposition is greater, perhaps far greater than the support.... |
