1. We all know their are gay priests.
2. Finding them, and removing them(which the catholic religion is within their right to do) would stop all pedophile accusations against future priests.
I'm not advocating this, but I wanted to know what others thinks about it. |

I'm not saying only gay men are pedophiles.
But only men can be priests. So if you are a priest who is a pedophile(their hasn't been a single accusation of a priest molesting a girl), that would make them a gay man, would it not? |

as for my perspective......a human giving an oath of giving up his / her sexual and hormonal drive is a concept which ludicrous does not begin to describe.
Humans have hormones because they were built to breed. If a human cant have sex with a consenting human their own age, ....many are going to find other ways to satisfy it. Thats biology.
If you'd like a link to a biology website I'm sure Bill Nye could start you off at understanding about the birds and the bees. |

simply banning gays from the priesthood would have no effect on Pedophilia, they are unrelated.
Banning males from the priesthood would nearly eliminate the problem. |

It would be an even neater trick to make the connection between homosexual priests and pedophiles anything but absolute situational prejudice and a situation that should be handled on a case by case basis...with the homosexual aspect completely banned from thought as being any kind of particular motive. |

We had a priest who was actually a physician! He would gaze lovingly at our collective privates during 'short arm' inspections. (lefty may remember those.)
I fear that if the Holy See removes all homosexual priests, they would have few 'straights' remaining... |

1) Suicide is illegal in Islam. No, you couldn't kill yourselves for them
2) The virgins you are supposed to recieve if you are a muslim (you don't have to sacrifice your life for God) are supposed to be soulless, so it doesn't matter. Besides, the laws are for earth, not Paradise.
3) Allah is Arabic for God. Arabic-speaking Christians even call God "Allah". Just say God instead of Allah, unless you wish to convert your whole sentance to Arabic |
