| In June 2005 Saakashvili has opened what was described as Georgian first summer patriotic youth camp. Another camp was open in August 2005 at Bakuriani in Western Georgia. And although no one journalist had a right to present during its opening, then one of them succeeded to see some shocked scenes there. It turned out that these facilities not offered sea and sun, but "training with real guns". So in reality war orientation for the children is the main end of such camps for ages 15-20. Instructors "are teaching the children how to dismantle the weapons, maintain them, shoot, move and prepare an ambush". Some groups are taught to breaking-up of demonstrations or to compulsory interrogation methods and practice. And if we take into account that our President has never concealed his intentions to establish control over rebellious autonomies even by force, it becomes clear that our children are training not for the army, but for the war. As it will be a real bloody bath, our children must fill bonnet of Georgian soldiers, fallen in battle. |

| I very much doubt that Misha is doing that, he's a true liberal. If he is then it's only because he's convinced that Russia or someone will invade, a small possibility. |

this is a complete lie. I'm not sure who the author of the post is, but I"m georgian myself.., and I've visited that camp, my little brother went there... It's a complete lie that Journalists couldn't see it, cause our national TV broadcasted everything. You my friend are a complete lier, I don't know why u need to lie about things like that... It makes me think that you are trying to break image of my home country. Our president is a liberal person...
Ah, I see now... you are probably from the defacto lands either from "abkhazia" or "south oseti" well my friend... those are our lands, you took them and want autonomy now... that will never happen! We'll get our lands, not by war like you want... we'll do it peacefully! |

This is why I love reading about Georgia, and why I'm so optimistic about their future.
