You personally got 16 of the 20 people correct and were better at recognizing girls than guys. Overall, you guessed better than 87% of all test takers.

I completely agree with that.

Interestingly I took this test: http://www.okcupid.com/gaydar

"You impressively scored 80%"
"You personally got 16 of the 20 people correct and were better at recognizing girls than guys. Overall, you guessed better than 87% of all test takers."

i got same exact results! kool

My gaydar is pretty good.
There was this guy in junior high school and I immediately pegged him as gay. I'm not even sure why. For about 6 years he lived a straight lifestyle, but in his junior year he came out.
There are occasional "that guy must be gay" times where the guy has wound up being in a straight relationship, but that doesn't mean anything...

I don't know about gaydar, but I don't know about straight-dar. I can always sense when a woman is interested in me. Strangely, this "straight-dar" is constantly going off, regardless of what woman is around me.

I'm not gay, but I reckon I have an incredible 'gaydar'. It has to be people in real life though, people whom I can talk to. I've been right time after time. Still I have two close, long term friends who I strongly suspect are gay, they know I'd be cool if they came out (I hope so at least) but since we are 18/19 it might take a while.

My general tactic for telling a straight woman or gay man, as opposed to a gay woman or straight man is that the former come on to me........

With all the energies, EMF fields, etc. that people give off I am sure there is some shread of truth in it. Mine works very well in my area, but if I travel to another area of the country, it isn't as effective. So IMO it is real, but it is also relevant to the culture that surrounds us
