There isn't any capitalism. To you it may sound weird, but hear me out. In capitalism the reason we have product perfection increase is because it is capitalistic. Each company trys to make new, better, cheaper products, to outdo the competition. If there were communism the product increase market would seise. People would just make Play Station 2's for years and years to come. People would be driving gas powered cars and the same model, for years and years to come. Computers wouldn't get faster or more innovative. They would just be, the same ... forever. The reason being is because in a communism people would just be building products and making the same amount as everyone else. There wouldn't be a need to "get better".

I'm not a communist or a radical, so this isn't to say I believe this, but here's the answer to your problem:

In a communist society, greed isn't what drives people (there are no companies) to do better. People are driven by idealism. They know that what they're doing is for the good of everyone, so they work incredibly hard so that everyone will benefit. Everyone works for the benefit of themself and everyone else, instead of everyone working for just their own benefit.

Communists, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the idea.

that's exactly what i was going to say, but you beat me to it :-D ( i am not communist, i am socialist)
