So if the governemnent can ban not using seat belts because a person is at risk of harming themselves aqnd others ( a previous thread in the society debate forum) and many believe the governement can ban drugs becuase the increased risk of harming themselves and others. This clearly shows that homosexuals, through diseases, are more likely to harm themselves and others. Can the government not ban this also? Can you deny that homosexuals are at a greater risk of more diseased due to the potential of having more partners?

We should just ban all sex since having sex with anyone, married, single, male, female, runs a risk of disease. Everybody should use artifical insemination to reproduce since STDS can't tell the difference between sex for procreation and sex for sure enjoyment.

This is an old thread, but not quite as old as the source. The book is from 1979, before anyone worried about aids. I would venture to guess that the statistics are a bid different today.
