Anyone think if this study showed the opposite - that homosexuals were far less likely to commit crimes than heterosexuals - that it would have received more attention from the main stream media??
If only reporting the "good" news about a group and ignoring all the "bad" is persecution....well then sign me up for some of that brother! :lol: |

I don't know, why do you think it is? Is it a coincidence or perhaps a result of the 2% figure that your side quacks over and over again? Is there any particular reason why you would be singling out a minority group over something like this? What are you trying to prove? What crime did they commit, sodomy? :lol:

What would the number of homosexuals have to do with this? 25 of the population, 10% of the population - completely irrelevant to the topic.
I am not trying to "prove" anything - the CDC was conducting the study.
If you want to know what kinds of crimes they are talking about - or be able to add anything to the discussion - reading and researching might be in order. |

Prostitution - Big deal, it should be legal anyway.
Illegal Drug Use - Same as above ^

and many probably wouldn't even resort to that kind of thing if they had any hope in life. but being put down constantly by society, estranged from their families, etc. takes a lot of the happiness and ambition out of living. and no i'm not "blaming heterosexuals" for those egocentrics out there thinking so, i'm merely stating the reality of homosexual life. which is probably why suicide rates are so much higher for gays. its really not easy for many gays, but i'm lucky to say i've always been surrounded with loving, accepting family and friends so i never ended up taking the path some do. |

There was already a thread on this piece of crap. The analysis of the CDC study was done by someone working for a group known for it's anti-gay agenda.
No point in redebating this - it was thoroughly debunked before - can't quite seem to locate that old thread right now - anyone else got a link to it? |
