They way the jews shattered there own future by not excepting the saviour, all the work God did, all the information and help he gave the Jewish people and then they ignore his son. That is shattering:) |

Well, so how and why did the Jews survived from 1250 BC to now? |

I think that in some strange way...these prophecies will be fulfilled in the antiChrist AND at the same time the antiChrist will meet the expectations of the Jews. He will bring a "peace" to these people....for a short time.
I think liberal Christians and prolly Catholics will accept this guy as the Messiah too. |

That poster was disgustingly ignorant. Any Catholic will tell you that reguardless of faith you can be saved. |

Could Mahdi and Jesus be the same person?
There are similarities between Christianity and Islam on this issue: For example Islam also talks about "Dajjal" (the "anti-Christ") just like the Christianity! |

argh.
Jesus and the Mahdi are not the same person. Jesus presages the Mahdi in the End Times although the Mahdi presents the same principle of returning the world to righteousness.
It is strange that even though Jesus of Nazareth is not respected as Divine (but as Second among the Prophets, big Mo' being First) he is supposed to return to Earth. Why? not even Mohammad returns. Why Jesus?
In any case this is not a "nutty" belief, nor is it only held by the most radical of Muslims. Nearly all sects of Islam believe in the Mahdi though he takes various forms. In Sunni Islam they await the Mahdi, in the various Shi'a sects the mahdi has either already arrived or is waiting in seclusion (occulted Imamate), For the Druze ibn Daruzi died but will return and for the Bahais ( an Ex-Muslim faith) beleive that the Mahdi was replaced with the Bab, or Doorway ( basically a Messiah Figure that oens the doorway to Heaven).
I can reccomend several good books about Islamic faith written froman academic point of view. Being a Christian myself I am very wary of proselytization attempts. |

Because Jesus didnt die as Christians think and all humans must die.Jesus when he returns will tell everyone that he never said he was god or his son and that he always was a muslim like all prophets before him. |

300 people left on earth??
Nah I never heard about that.
The whole thing about Imam el Mehdi could be just a myth, I am not sure.
But yes there will be time where money wont be important anymore and there wont be any starvations and food will be everywhere but that will come after one hell of bloodshed. |

if everyone sits and expects that it comes to them, yeah, but if anyone feels a little resposiblity, no I think it will come sooner. After all, God calls the human being it's represantive on earth but I don't think anyone sees themselves as that. |
