Wouldn't **** possibly be an idiom for swarthy, because it refers to someone from the land of Cush? |

A moabite can never convert. A moabite man that is. No such prohibition applies to the Moabite women.
Ah, and how do I know that it is Moavi v'lo Moavit (man not woman)?

Because when the Jews were in the dessert, the Moabites and Amonites, refused to help out the Jews. This was a sin of the men, the women not being in the public, did not praticipate. |
