Not being a Cathiolic (technically im Lutherian) or even religious its been interesting watching all the coverage of the Pope.
I can respect him in many ways although being a liberal socialist i think his views on many things were ridiculous but thats true for most religious figures.
My big grip with the Pope is about AIDS. I don't know what his personal views on it were but surely he could have said its fine to protect the ones you love from infection.
If by not wearing a condom you infect your wife and curse your offspring to short painful lives surely that is an evil thing to do. Could he not have done more? |
