You've gotta be kidding me. Are you saying China is going to be afraid of Japan because of the atrocities it has committed against the Chinese populace during the past? If US and China ever go to war, it will be for only one reason...oil/...same reason that forced Japan to attack Pearl Harbor. Presently, it looks highly unlikely but who knows what will happen when the eagle is desperate and greedy.

The dragon of course prefers to be left alone but can be irritating at times because the eagle is everywhere on the dragon's borders.

What the hell is with Americans and the "chinese Threat"....My god, you cant do anything about china, live with it. It provides everything you use, it is more powerful. I dont understand. Is it becasue it is now a greater nation...I guess freedom and liberty to corrispond with Power. I mean cmon, China is you major trading partner. your Us Dollar is screwing China, your huge debt is screwing china, I think china should be sore at America, not the other way around.

I don't see how you can say that there will be no war. When oil prices start getting really high, the middle east is going to look like a ripe apple. It would be careless of countries to not secure their oil intrests, and I assure you there will be more than one that will do so.

Yeah the only Chinese threat is an sconomic threat, and you are right desaview, IF you are a major supporter of free trade, it's hypicritical to support it when it benifits you, and not other people.

Becasue china is nagotiating to buy oil from Canada.

i tell you what Chinese cannot see war until it is too late. Americans always sees wars in every thing. America became great because of wars. America has no culture of its own except war culture. Americans cannot get over their WW II.

Also remember the Hsiung Nus, Huns, Mongols, Manchus, Europeans, Japs, Korean war? China is a big magnet. As long as it is weak, warring tribes will be interested to rape. That is why peace can only be assured when China is strong.
