I’ve always wondered why the rest of the world dislikes us so much. I personally felt it when in France. And it was then when I got it. We don’t pretend to be their like and we do this in the most brazen and even insulting for’em way. Young democracies are loving us ‘cause we bring them higher level of life. Yet we should care, especially our high rank diplomats. The careless way is not for a real profi. Our ambassador Young’s withdrawal from Kyrgyzia is proving the fact. My old buddy is working in the mission in Kyrgyzia. It was at their official get-together when the guy relaxed and boozed it up so much as to make a big gaffe. Fancy he threatened our ‘fitty marines will skin that Akaev alive’. ‘That Akaev’ is president of Kyrgyzia. I don’t know what prompted the ambassador to say so. Anyway the local authorities took this verbal diarrhea quite for serious. Sure it was not Young’s best day!

I think that winnie needs to elaborate a bit. I understand that she cant speak english well (thanks to Mr Administrator Dave) so lets wait and see if she comeback and explains her point more clearly. I'm sure he'/she has valid points

It's simple the world hates us because they've seen south park (and other shows) and have decided that we're hopelessly violent. Seriously though I think Gamisou has a good point. We really need to work on foreign policy. :wink:

The French don't really have any good reason to hate Americans. Americans saved their ass during WW2, and the French were the ones who started vietnam (one of the main things the USA is criticized for). Maybe just differences in attitudes toward politics and running around naked in public.

The reason why most of the world countries hate Americans is the cultural difference.There is a huge difference between the American culture and other cultures.You should teach your soldiers what to do in other countries.That will solve the 80 percent of this problem because most of the bad reputation comes from your soldiers.

Im British therefore quite close in culture to the US. But i HATE their government, religious fanatics, heartless corperations.

Not cultural differences. Its the way Americans act. As if everything they do is just fine by everyone else.
