its impossible probaly, but if could happen, then sure. As long as equality and regard for human importance is paramount(I.E. no need for a 1 trillion dollar a year global military budget)

It is going to happen. In the End Times when the Anti-Christ arrives on the scene, there will be a one-world government.

That being said, I don't plan on being around. The thought of a one-world government sends chills up my spine.

I agree, although there are some schools of thought who believe that the Rapture won't take place until after the Tribulation.

If you want an example of one-world government, look at what's going on in Europe. You've got politicians in Brussels (the EU's capital in Belgium) pissing off the Brits because some measures that they've passed have put a hamper on some British industries.

You don't need to be so pesimistic about everything. What if the world government holds true to many christain values, would you still not be part of it. And who says that the only world government has to be the anti-christ's.

Christian eschatology... how incredibly BORING!!! you guys need to get over it. your belief in the literal interpretation of the Bible and all the s**t that comes with it is really hindering your ability to think and reason.

The idea of a homogenised world just makes me cringe with anticipated boredom. I like that the world is complex. Give me crazy foreign people who do things differently any day.

I concur - as long as the crazy foreigners are as intelligent and amusing as you, Anaximander. [Please arrange transfer of money direct from bank rather than risk the postal service.]

It's on it's way, as agreed.

I don't do praise very well, by the way. I'm trashing my room as we speak.

Coming from someone who thinks the world should be run by the "best for the good of the common folks," I'll take this as a compliment.

Oh there would be D@N. They'd have to fight people like me. I would never submit to a one world government. It is repulsive to everything I believe in.

why do you hate peace John?

Even if there are a movement opposed to it, one world government would mean no more nukes, would result radically smaller civil military. the less guns, the better. No more rogue nations, IE. Iran, America.

And If the Mirr was still in space, I'd vote to give it to you, to start your own little republic. Something along lines of Peteroria(family guy reference)
