No One Responsible

Has Adscam Inquiry been closed down or stopped?
Was that evidence of corruption completely lost?
Were politicians embarrassed by these revelations?
Were they involved in any of these cancellations?

Is Canada cursed by inept pompous politicians?
With unquestioned appointees to preserve conditions?
Paying equalization ransom to Quebec for tough love,
Bilingualism and multiculturalism shove.

Traveling the world constantly in a Challenger jet,
Forget that we’re six hundred billion dollars in debt,
And half our taxes just to pay the interest on this,
With politicians who rarely mention this debt exists.

We’ve had too many prime minister who came from Quebec,
Just sit back and count them if you care to check,
Pretending and sending equalization to their friends,
Say the ransom is for unity as they tax and spend.

Absent from parliament more than half the time,
Constantly traveling the world and spending our dime,
But there are no rules and we don’t vote for him,
So we get what we deserve though it can be grim.

As they manipulate the system every day and night,
And manage the media because we’re not all that bright,
Can’t ask, have referendums, term limits or recall,
Parliament is incidental while they’re having a ball.

Is Parliament a Side Show?

Is parliament a side show if politicians don’t attend?
Too busy traveling to answer questions or condescend?
And Mr. Martin needs two planes to carry his stuff,
An Airbus and a Challenger jet are hardly enough.

So family, friends and colleagues can all have a good time,
And why not let them when it’s all done on our dime,
And the journalists pipe it all back every night,
So we can watch and listen to their serious sound bites.

But why this need to visit every square inch of the earth?
Some places so unknown that they might be the first,
Looking for unfortunate refugees to bring back here,
Help out the poor people so we can show we’re sincere.

We should have a rule that politicians should stay here,
In parliament trying to justify a political career,
Passing laws and not leaving it to the High Court,
Or depend on them and the gay guys for more support.

And those who don’t attend should loose their seats,
Not allowed to run in a by-election – no repeats,
Where scandals and skullduggery are not accepted,
And scoundrels go to jail – no Liberals excepted.

The System Just Can’t be Changed

The system is such that we’re stuck with stupid politicians,
Not allowed to change, get rid of them or make decisions,
Have to wait maybe four or five years to rearrange,
No referendums or recall and we just can’t change.

Because we can’t interfere with the infrastructure,
Trudeau’s Charter can’t be altered or the power structure,
Appointees will defend the ethics of those in power,
Or appointee titles and jobs could be gone in an hour.

You are really just a number – a nobody, a nerd,
A body on an escalator or a sheep in the herd,
Helpless, defenseless in their vicious status quo,
Wait for their directions – how to vote and where to go.

The Americans can vote for their president but not us,
We can’t vote for our prime minister or even discuss,
And we can’t vote for our governor general either,
We can’t vote for anyone considered a leader.

We can’t ask questions to an appointee or a judge,
About their vested interests that we can never begrudge,
Same-sex stuff, euthanasia, terrorists or refugees,
Missing adscam money in Quebec if you please.

Our politicians are all busy traveling here and there,
Or down at the UN pretending to be millionaires,
International socialist with Kyoto ideology,
But no changes for you or me or an apology.

You don’t need a conscience if you behave and obey,
Their edicts from Ottawa and you believe what they say,
And tomorrow again they’ll tell you that they’re great,
No need for silly questions or have an open debate.

Are Refugees all nice Guys?

Canada has decided not to follow US leads,
Fingerprint and photograph all incoming refugees,
Or terrorists or Ben Laden if he comes,
Or claims his Charter rights with international bums.

Canadians can’t ask questions because of who they are,
Partisan appointees will decide in this weird bazaar,
It’s UN policies that are now the Holy Grail,
Is it their rules and regulations that will prevail?

The few who ask questions will be completely overruled,
Probably homophobic, xenophobic or unschooled,
Should they be burned at the stake for being a witch?
Or maybe tarred and feathered and thrown in a ditch?

Will we be allowed to watch all this approaching trouble?
Before international socialists burst their bubble?
Compelled to be completely politically correct?
Denied referendums or the ability to protest?

They’re waiting now for a million more about to arrive,
The do-gooders want amnesty so illegals can thrive,
And all this while Canadians themselves remain silent,
Hidden is the notion that refugees could turn violent.

i wondered if you just like posting stuff that no one pays any attention to and gives no responce to? if yes, what is the point of you doing it? why don't you just sit at home and read it to yourself if you like it so much? i am just curious.
