Adscam Stopped Dead in its Tracks
By

Why did I know this so very long ago?
About inquiries, corruption and missing dough,
They close down inquiries for any excuse,
Call it a stall, a pause, a delay but not an abuse.
They call the cancellation a judicial review,
Where their appointee may take another point of view,
May view the evidence as completely inadmissible
Where closing down the inquiry is permissible.
Media buys it and appointed judges condone,
While corrupt politicians spend time on the phone,
But nothing much changes in their corrupt ways,
It’s their status quo system for the rest of our days.
You thought things would change with a different prime minister,
But they’re the same corrupt crowd – crooked and sinister,
The inquiry hardly started and now it’s shut down,
We’re not sure what’s happening in the name of the crown.
They claim it’s a legal mess and it doesn’t matter now,
So long as the whole thing is stalled and stopped somehow,
They say it may resume again but no one knows when,
Next month, next year and maybe we’ll have forgotten by then.
And then it gets worse because we don’t know that we’re trapped,
They do what they want while the inquiry is scrapped,
Without referendums or recall we have no recourse,
No option but to follow as they show no remorse.

Quebec-Ontario Equalization
By
If Quebec has something, Ontario should have it too
That is real equalization through and through,
If they are unilingual, why can’t we be too?
Are we so submissive we don’t know what to do?
Why should bilingualism be shoved down our throats?
In places of one language and extremely remote,
Are we over a barrel stuck in their status quo?
Afraid to talk out in case they mention Trudeau.
Why are we so afraid to ask these questions?
Or to even step forward to make some suggestions,
Why can’t we have referendums or even recall?
Must we stay down hidden insignificant and small?
Will being polite and obedient keep us secure?
Or are we just politically immature?
Should we view corrupt politicians with certain scorn?
Or should we feel individually weak and forlorn?
Obedient people have been marched to their camps,
Assigned tattoo numbers and given mine lamps,
Obliging and compliant they worked day and night,
All done by those who said they were so righteous and right.
Of course they scream that it couldn’t happen here,
It’s narrow minded rednecks and Nazis we should fear,
But not our politicians -- socialist to the core,
And when you scream again for change, they’ll ignore.
Canadians can’t change anything at all,
Not the constitution or the writing on the wall,
Just pay the referendum ransom to Quebec,
Call it equalization because no one ever checks.

| I dont understand how Quebec wants to be a distinct culture in canada, in fear that their own culture is being taken away. The hypocrasy is that they are the ones shoving french down the 9 provinces throats, therefor taking away from OUR culture. Millions of dollars a year are spent putting french on all the products we buy, and the french channels that are broadcasted in BC and Alberta. Just seems like a double standard to me. |
