This article reports the eviction of white farmers off of farmland that was white owned during the colonial periods of Zimbabwe.

They are mudering,raping, and stealing land from them. It's not just government confiscation but mass rape and homicide. Apparently they are no better than the separatists that ruled over them. I hope they leave Zimbabwe to rot in the hell they have created for themselves. I would rather flush my money down the toilet than see my tax dollars go to help those animals.

Although it pains me to say it HC has accurately portrayed the situation in Zimbabwe although I would not have been quite so vitriolic. Mugabe is a disgrace and has driven that country into the ground. Economically it is a blow to Zimbabwe to lose the white farmers who probably could have been persuaded to stay and support a reasonable government.

It vaguely annoys me that the plight of white farmers in Zimbabwe gets such a huge share of the media attention devoted to that country. There's barely ever anything about the other nasty goings on there.

You are right there is a lot of stuff going on there but when many nations in the world stepped in and ended apartheid the these thugs responded by mass rape and killing. I would never help them. They have already shown they are worse than the rascists that ruled over them. I am against helping Africa in any shape,way, or form. We've done enough over there to mess things up. Leave them to their own fate for better or worse. They must work things out for themsevles and YES I feel the same way about many areas in the mideast.

You know, Africa isn't one big homogenous monolithic entity...

But wait a minute, who exactly stepped in and helped oust Ian Smith? I know there were sanctions and such, but I didn't think there was anytihng beyond that.
