The GG Adrienne and her consort Jonnie Saul,
Secretly appointed by Chretien one and all,
To empty the treasury going here and there,
Squander billions of dollars and disregard the glare.
And have an honor guard dripping with gold braid,
In uniforms with medals always on parade,
These excesses of our Excellencies are profound,
They behave like a king and queen prancing around.
At the same time as the sponsorship scandals,
Media claims we’re getting value for vandals,
Righteously claim they’re above mere politicians,
Near royalty – extraordinary exhibitions.
Her budget multiplied by five or six last year,
Taxpayers’ money so there is no need to fear,
Can’t lower the level of security protection,
When was the last time she stood for an election?
And the size of her massive entourage doesn’t count,
And those sixty friends are just the normal amount,
And those who would question this have obviously no class,
Or they can’t go on the ride or they can’t get a pass.
